School Snapshot

Students gather in the courtyard of the new Feltonville Community K-8 Campus before class starts on the first day of school. Begun in March 2004 in response to strong community pressure for a new school, this was the District's first school construction project launched under its $1.5 billion Capital Improvement Plan. The new school building, housing the former Central East Middle School, joins two existing school buildings to form a K-8 campus. The campus now includes the Barton Elementary School (K-2), Feltonville Intermediate (3-5) and the new Feltonville School of Arts and Sciences (6-8).
