December 9: Good Schools Pennsylvania Rally for Education, Capital Building, Rotunda, 1 PM. "Don't let the Senate throw crumbs to educate our kids. Take a stand for children in Harrisburg." Transportation is available. Contact Good Schools at 215-276-4321 to reserve your spot.
December 10: School Reform Commission Meeting, 1 PM, School District of Philadelphia, 2120 Winter St., 2nd floor Auditorium. To register to speak, call 215-299-7850 by 4:30 the day before the meeting.
December 11: Penn Alexander Community Arts & Crafts Sale, 6-8 PM, Penn Alexander School, 4209 Spruce St. (use cafeteria entrance at 43rd street across from the CVS). Talented Penn Alexander school community members will exhibit and sell their arts and crafts. To reserve a table to sell your art, call 215-823-5288 or email rholmes@pobox.upenn.edu by December 9.
